Overview

One of the rover's main features is a robotic arm with 6 degrees of freedom and a spherical wrist, a tool-changing system, and a universal gripper. For the arm's drive, we developed unique fully 3D-printed cycloidal gearboxes with stepper motors.

Robotic Arm

The fundamental element of the rover is its frame, which is assembled from aluminium profiles and 3D-printed components, ensuring a high degree of modifiability for the entire structure. It will carry a robotic arm and all the electrical hardware necessary to control the entire assembly. On its deck, modules for various parts of the competition, such as the science task module to analyse collected samples, can be easily swapped out.
